Modern MOVES with Ballaro Dance

Service Description

This 2-hr. dance class and choreography workshop is led by Founding Artistic Director Marisa f. Ballaro with Ballaro Dance company members. The session will explore modern dance fundamentals of swinging and twisting with gestures of reaching and pushing to get the body warmed-up. Participants will learn a few moves from the Ballaro Dance repertory - and create some of their own - to co-choreograph a brand new ‘fast-dance’ by the end of the session. Participants are invited to perform the original piece of choreography in an evening concert with Ballaro Dance following the workshop! The SHE WHO INSPIRES performance event begins at 6:45pm; Modern MOVES performers receive a complimentary ticket to the evening event if participating as a performer. All dance levels are welcome; workshop is open to ages 13 through adult. Participants must complete a waiver with registration. The rain date for this event is Thursday, July 17. A drink purchase of minimum $10 plus tax and gratuity per participant is required to attend this event and can be made at the vineyard prior to the start of the event, after our staff checks your ID. Outside Alcohol Beverages, Water Bottles or Any Other Beverages are NOT allowed to be brought in the premises of the vineyard. This is a restriction of our Farm Winery Permit. Our staff reserves the right to check bags and coolers. CANCELLATION POLICY Ticket is non refundable.
