Ardian
is a Mechanical Design Engineer responsible to design tooling and fixtures for complex thermal and ultrasonic equipment.
Ardian holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fairfield University.
He started his career as a Mechanical Machine Operator, progressing up to the role of the main Mechanical Engineer at a Connecticut based company, a market leader in Heat Staking machines and equipment.

Ardian's interest in winemaking and his upbringing in a farming lifestyle in Albania, a country in the crossroads of Italian, Slavic, Turkish and Greek traditions, inspired the couple to create a place infused with the Mediterranean culture at Aquila's Nest Vineyards in Newtown, CT.

Neviana
is a Digital Finance and Analytics Manager with 10 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in implementing global financial services solutions with the goal of digitizing and transforming FP&A, Controllership, Audit, Risk Management, Wealth Management business processes using Agile methodologies and a varied suite of technical products.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of ODTUG, a prestigious global independent Oracle Technical User Group. She used to serve in the Board of Directors of fabe: for all a beautiful earth, a non-profit whose goal is to leverage technology in taking individual environmental action. She was also the program lead for the GE Girls UCONN STEM program.
​
Neviana holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Fairfield University, and has attended numerous leadership trainings at the General Electric Crotonville Development Center.

Neviana's passion for community engagement, women empowerment, photography, the arts, interior design, social media and marketing has strongly influenced the vineyard's brand identity.
